Metal Elephant is a personal, single-user project. Its Google Drive backup tool is used only by its developer, Richard Mauger, with his own Google account. No other person's data is accessed.
The tool uses the Google Drive API, with the account owner's consent, to upload backup files to, and list and delete old backup files in, the account owner's own Google Drive.
The tool collects no personal information from anyone. It sends no data to the developer or to any third party. The only data involved is the backup files themselves, which go from the developer's computers to the developer's own Google Drive. The OAuth access credentials are stored only on the developer's own computers.
The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
